Late last year, Larry went down to the Bridal Expo with his pal Bubba to try and meet some ladies. That didn't go well. Most of the women their were spoken-for or were the mothers of those that were spoken-for. Bubba tried to get their money back. Instead, they got arrested.
While kickin' it in the downtown pokey, Bubba ran into one his old high school friends who was sleeping off a drunken night that included urination in the fountain at City Hall. You would have thought this friend was "homeless"... but no. He was a "tortured artist" who following his muse through the highs and lows of bee king trapped in the body of a man-child. His name was Nick.
So, Nick sobers up enough to tell us about this movie that he has been working on. It is the story of Casey Smith. He was a slightly famous local artist somewhere is the North Pacific or something. He sometimes went by K.C. Smith or just simple K.C. He lived with a great deal of pain. But, he used his pain as his art. And he used his art to get rich and some-what famous. And he hoped that being rich and some-what famous would help alleviate his pain. It didn't. Instead, it got him married to stripper that was 40 years his senior and it ended with him making a left turn in the middle of right-banking freeway overpass.
Sounds great, huh? So, he asked Larry if Cabo Joe and Chop-Chop would do the sound track for the movie. Larry said yes.
So, for the RPM Challenge of 2012, Cabo Joe and Chop-Chop recorded the sound track to the movie. The sound track is done. This movie is not. The label says that they can release the album in March or April. The is no release date for the movie.
