Red Wine Bottle

If the sun sets in the East.  Excuse, WHEN the sun set in the East.

And the wind only travels in large circles.

And dust is the chocolate milk of the Gods.

We must begin to at least acknowledge that men are evil.  That man is ruthless.  That all men are created equally devastating to all that they touch.

And the car drives over my foot.  My toes is okay because of my trust steel-toed Docs.  But, I can't forget the music.  I can't forget to dance.

Black Silk Ribbon

Blogging is an effort.  I have no idea how people can do this everyday.  And everyday they don't just write a little.  They write a tone.

I can't do it.  I can think of nothing to write about it.  I can't think of very little to care about.  I am tired.  I am lazy.  I am out.

Think About Me

The lights are on.  It was a stormy, stormy, night.  A long time before.

And I can't even begin to lie about the sites.  The sounds.  The smells.

I should not have gone out last night.  I should have stayed home.  I'm sure the details will emerge in a song someday.  It is too fresh to talk about now.  The pain is too vivid.  It is too much.

Don't Want To Wait Anymore

Captan Flakes control the milky seas of the cereal bowl and this how war begins.

No one has been able to stop the captain and his reign of terror.  He rules the bowl with intimidation, fear and touch of class.  He is the fear of man and the desire of women.  He yesterday's best and tomorrow's worst.  He is the most exciting man in the bowl.

I am Wednesday.  I sometimes pretend to be Thrusday.  I am the truth.  I am the grassy knoll.  I am the troll under the bridge.  I am the uhaul on the bridge.  I am the smog and the sky.

The super market is super today.  And today the milk is cold and the seas are calm.

My shoes are shabby.  My belly is full.

Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman

Go to work.  Drop of dry cleaning. Pick-up fast food.  Program some drum loops.  Go out and get some tacos for late night snack.  Go to sleep.  Lather.  Repeat.

A day in the life of a rock star.

Children of the Damned

Sometimes, you just can't get enough.  You just can't get enough.  You just can't get enough.

Other times, you just can't get no satisfaction. I can't get no satisfaction.  And I try.  And I try.  And I try.

But not today.  Today is dream.  Today was not to be.  Today was no predictable.  Today is Tuesday.

I am awake.  I am alive.

Welcome to the lost world order.

The Prisoner

I don't know how it began or when it began to unravel.  But, if life is a bag of cookies then these cookies are stale.  This would soggy when it should be crisp.  The music is peppered spots of mold.  I cannot go to work today.  I must forget the lack of inspiration and pretend that it is all worth while.

There is an imaginary zoo in my mind.  I've written about the Zebras and Penguins.  But, I've never invited them to my house for tea.  I like simple teas with ginger cookies.

22 Acacia Avenue

Sunday.  Not that bloody... but still a Sunday.

The winter winds breath fire into the jaded hearts of a population of lizard humanoids as they begin the dance of the Wicked Incarceration.

The urbain existence of false hate remarks on the significant milestone of Nevermind by Nirvana.  Not to be outdone by the whimsical brother of phone that goes unanswered, we find that castle has been stormed and lands of been pillaged.

"Vicotry is more than Michael Jackson," screams the crowd in unison.  They have been entrenched in this war to long and they only seek the solace of a soulless existence.  And for the first time in several weeks, they find the time to sleep and to eat and to be at peace.  In a world of worthlessness, these are truly rich people.  True love is splattered egg from an omelet gone bad.

When at first you begin the beginning, you will see that ending is infinite, yet the possibilities are finite.  There is no unknown that can not be undone except the undones that were known but now are unknown.

Sunday.  Welcome.

Exhale (Shoop Shoop)

Sometimes you need to sit back and watch the paint dry.  Some times you need to paint the inside of a paperbag and inhale.

Super stressful day.  My cup of frustration runneth over.

I need to chill.  I need to find the perfect Tammy Terrell.

My Name Is Not Susan

You never know where inspiration is going to hit you.  It could be happen at any time. Any place.

But, it won't happen right now, right here.  It won't happen in a box.  It won't happen in my sox.

Not with kindness. Not with pressure.   Not with wills.

Over here.  Or over the hills.

It could not on plane.  Or in the rain.  Or even in Spain.

It could not happen on the couch.  Or on a pin... Ouch.

It will not happen today. Tonight. Or anyway.

I give it up.  I must go.

Inspiration is a no-show.

Didn't We Almost Have It All

So, I have confirmation that Pizza will be released sometime in November.  And with that release, there is no more hidden unreleased tracks.  All of the music is out there.  To be enjoyed.  Or not.

The day job has me pretty busy right now, so it's kinda good that Larry broke his whatever.

I think our favorite fan, Jason, had a birthday recently.  Happy 30th, man.

Jungleland

My custom guitar doesn't look like it going to happen.  The acoustic science doesn't work and the price to build would be about $4000 per unit.  The prototype would be about $25,000.  And I've got no scratch to spend on this right now.

Maybe after we sell a few million then I will re-pursue the dream.  For now, however, it is in the best interest of the band if I spend my money on the van.  A running van means transportation to gigs.

Meeting Across the River

Originally Cabo Joe and Chop-Chop were to be a Dance Troupe.  Believe it or not, we are actually better at music than dancing, so that's when we became band.

I think the Pussy Cat Dolls may have stolen this back story.  Duncha Wish Your Band Could Dance Like Me?  Duncha?

It's Tuesday.  I don't think that it is as smoggy today as it has been.  The air seems safe.

Larry and I have cancelled all band practices for the next couple of weeks.

I guess it time to concentrate on my day job.

Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out

So, MC LI'L Chop like Special K with Red Berries for breakfast.  Here's the thing, however, he likes to pick-out the red berries and not eat them.  He doesn't like regular Special K.

What is the deal?

Tomorrow Is a Long Time

It's Sunday again.  I think that we are doing a pretty good job of keeping up with the blog now.  I am rather proud of ourselves.

Larry is programming some drum beats.  Its sounds strange.  I'm not sure if will be for a Cabo Joe & Chop-Chop record or a Rijjet Roget's record.

Welll, that's enough for today.  I hope you check back tomorrow.

Reason to Believe

This is a request from our lawyers.  We have never met anyone in person  named Jason Lane.  The song that we have by that name is not intended to represent any actual Jason Lane, living or dead.  The song is about a modern-day superman to which most people, we hope, aspire to be.   Any similarities to any person, living or dead, is purely coincidental and unintended.

We were asked to disclose this because the label has opted to have this song on the forthcoming compilation, Abbey Road by Cabo Joe & Chop-Chop.

You have seen the demo for this song on YouTube and Facebook.  We hope that you are not too disapointed with the final product.  This is song written while Joe was still in the band.  Joe, however, quit prior to recording his parts for the song.

Well, enjoy your day.

The Life of Riley

So, according to the label rep they are planning on releasing Crisp Mass next week.  I also saw that they plan to release Joe's RPM challenge album on the same day.  Joe's album is called "So Low" by Just Joe and The Under Carriage.  So, next week go out and have your self a merry little purchase.

Nothing new going on today.  Larry's cast makes practice improbable for a while.  I may take this time to work on another children's song.  What song should I do next?  Maybe "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star."  I will have to see if that is available in the public domain.

School has started and so Tone Lolo and MC Li'l Chop are at school most of the day.  MC Li'l Chop doesn't want to take music lessons.  :(  Maybe Tone Lolo will.  He's a lefty so I will have to buy him his own guitar.

Well, that's enough for today.  Late.

All I Want

So, my first solo single as The Rijjet Rogets was recently released by Mean Rock Stars.  (Thanks for the support.)

I went on iTunes and saw  that the single is titled "F135h".  Well, that's wrong.  But, what are you going to do.  You can't argue with Apple.  Then I looked at the cover on iTunes.  And while it may not be clear, the title on the single cover is "FL35H".  So, the cover has the correct title.

I did some more research on the web and I see the title listed every where as "F135H" or "F135h".  No where is listed as "FL35H".  If there is picture of the cover then cover picture has "FL35H", but that is it.

I went and asked Mean Rock Stars, "how can this be?"  And the answer is simple.  Intern-Error.

Mean Rock Stars lures these young students into the exciting world of music and pays them nothing.  NOTHING.  So, if its two in the morning and the kid types in a song title wrong there really is nothing that you can do.

So, I guess my single will now be "F135H" instead of "Fl35H".  I apologize for the confusion.

The Lunatics Have Taken Over the Asylum

First, apologies.  I'm sorry that I missed band practice yesterday.  I am sorry that missed writing this blog yesterday.

I was in the ER.

My fullcontact lawn bowling game was uglier than normal.

Word of advise, do not talk about the mother of a member of Fontana Frustration.  They will beat you in the lawn bowling... and then they will be you.

Pills and Soap

Larry is a no show today.  Not just for blogging... but for band practice too.  I'm not that surprised.  The band has been really slow moving lately.

We have no plans... except to record a new album in February as part of the annual RPM challenge.

This weekend was a slow weekend.  We didn't really do anything.

Chopper out.

The Other Side of Summer

I don't know if you are aware or not.  I have no idea what Chop-Chop has been writing here in this blog.  I try to read it.  But, I really can't be bothered or I just don't care.  One day, not today, I will think about it and give you a definitive answer.

This summer has been the "Summer of Swinging Singles" from Mean Rock Stars.  They have released a number singles this summer.  Including a very special singly by me.

I'm bored.  I'll write more tomorrow.  (You owe me, Chop-Chop).

In a Hand or a Face

So, Larry is really pumped about his new bass.  And he is really pissed at me for my less than supportive behavior.

Sorry, man.  I wish you the best.  The idea sounds awesome.  I hope the bass sound even better.
