I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend

The newest Cabo Joe & Chop-Chop is now available on itunes. Enjoy.

If you want a physical copy, you can buy that at CD Baby. Enjoy.

Lastly, we had an idea (that we may have borrowed from Nine Inch Nails and/or Radio Head). You can now download all of our CDs at "you name the price." Enjoy.

Mother's Day was only a little over a week ago. This might be the only gift that will make up for your oversight (you really forgot to call your mom?).

Smells Like Teen Spirit

I think that the band will have a new sound on the next record. I'm calling it "grudge" music. It's going to be awesome. Larry has really changed the dynamic of the band.

I had MC Li'l chop with me this weekend. He sat in on drums. It sounded pretty good. With his mama's permission, we might add him to live band when possible. Next week we have a gig in Campbell near San Jose. We'll keep you posted.

Rainbow In The Dark

Today will be our first day without Dio.

I had never heard of Dio until he was solo. Black Sabath will always Ozzy.

But, the man could sing. He brought a new kind of romance to metal.

Goodnight Ladies

Larry's car is not starting. It might be the battery. Regardless, our gig at the house party in Tehachapi will NOT be happening. We are very sorry.

Julie, we hope you have a great 15th birthday. We will make it up to you next year.

Julio, we will refund your deposit. The check will be mailed tomorrow.

Broken Wings

It's been kind of busy lately. I got the job. We hired a manager. I bought new polyester pants for the new job.

So, allow me to introduce, Harvey, our manager. Harvey has already worked with our label to secure a deal so that our new disc can be released.

Harvey, wants to have more control over our band image, so there will be some changes coming. We don't know exactly what this means. We are extremely excited, however, get our career back on track.

Can`t Stop Us

At night, I pass-out angry and tired. In the morning, I wake-up tired and angry. I'm always tried and angry. I'm tired from being angry. I am angered about being so tired.

It's exhausting. It's futile. It's juvenile. It's life.

So, that's it. No new revelations. No new revolutions. World keeps on spinin' (spinin', spinin'... into the future...)

As a Rock Star (yes, we are), we never thought that "T&A" would end-up meaning "Tired and Angry."

Death Of A Clown

Saturday. May 8th. Tomorrow is Mother's day. MC Li'l Chop is staying with his Mam this weekend. I'm alone.

I played with the Uke this morning. I'm hoping to be able to add our new song, "My World Pretend" to the our live repertoire.

I want to do a live record some day. I want a Chop-Chop Comes Alive or Chop-Chop Live At Budokan to call my own.

I haven't seen Cabo in a couple of days. You would think that we would jamming more now that I'm kicking it at his place.

I think he might be frustrated with m freeloading. Plus the fact that Mean Rock Stars (our label) won't release our next disc. They've been losing a ton money lately. Everyone is broke. What a strange time.

Something good will happen. Hopefully, it will happen to us.

I hope you enjoy the weekend. I'm going to go do laundry.

The Bends

Our manager-candidate had us meet up with a dude who has a van this weekend. In addition to the van he has a check knock-off of a Fender bass. He can't really play the bass very well, but we might let him join the band so that we don't have to rent a car to get to gigs. Is that wrong? He does look cool holding the bass. We need to teach him how to play and move his hips at the same time, however. We'll keep you posted.

Just Like Honey

Generic Oat O's and string cheese. Life is.

We met up with someone that wants to be our manager. He says if we sign with him he'll get our new record pressed and find me a job that will be accommodating to our performance schedule. We'll keep you posted.

Black Eyed Susan

Cabo Joe and I are both "Dog" people. Cats are okay, but Dogs are man's best friend. They are loyal, funny and never fickle. Cats are evil.

So, as you know, we've been living at Cabo's place until I can find a new place to live and some type of job to pay for said place. Cabo has a 7 foot couch that I sleep on. MC Li'l Chop sleeps on the ground in a sleeping bag next to me. And Cabo's puppy sleeps on the floor just outside of Cabo's room and keeps an eye on all of us.

For the past few mornings, I've been waking up and smelling urine. I kept thinking the that MC Li'l Chop was having "accidents". When I checked, however, him and his sleeping bag were dry.

So, where is the smell coming from?!?!?!?!??!

I figured it out this morning. I got up to make some toast and when I returned to my bed/couch, I saw this gray cat laying on my pillow. I yelled at the cat and it scampered out the open window behind the couch.

I asked Cabo about this cat and he explained to me that it's not his cat. It is a neighborhood cat and a crazy cat lady feeds it. The cat's name is Blue and there is black one around somewhere named Blackie.

"What?" I say. "You hate cats."

"It's not my cat. And the dog like the company."

So, I guess I have another reason to find a job and new place to live.

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

Do we have a purpose? What do you propose that our purpose should be? Should I proclaim your proposition for our proposed purpose to be our primary purpose?

This proposition of our our primary proposed purpose will then need to propagate to the population. Within the population it will proliferate and people will postulate on its persuasiveness, power, point and potency.

Peculiar and perplexing as it may seem, this will be our purpose (now and posthumously).
